National Highways will be carrying out essential targeted resurfacing work on the A458 between the England/Wales border and Churncote Roundabout.

Work overnight between 9pm and 6am,on Sunday 24 March, Monday 25 March, Tuesday 26 March, Wednesday 27 March and Thursday 28 March 2024.

To carry out our work safely the A458 will be closed as follows:

24 March to 26 March –A458fully closed in both directions betweenA458/Yockleton Road junction and A458/Sandy Lane junction.

27 March –A458 fully closed in both directions between A458/But Lane junction and Churncote Roundabout

28 March 2024 –A458 fully closed in both directions between the England/Wales border and A458/Rowton Avenue junction.

During closures fully signed diversion route via the A458, A483 and the A5. Westbound traffic will follow the same diversion route in reverse.

During this time, access to frontages will be maintained as well as access for emergency vehicles.
